EVERYTHING CAME FROM
NOTHING
"Nothing"
Nothing, or non-existence, is that which doesn't
exist. It is not a metaphysical entity. It doesn't exist. It has no
identity. It is not an object.
Non-existence is a
concept that is meaningless by itself. It isn't something. It is a
relational concept, gaining meaning only in comparison to another concept.
Non-existence gains meaning only in comparison to existence. It is the
denial of existence. The concept "nothing" is a denial of the existence of a
particular entity. Both "non-existence" and "nothing" are denials of
concepts, which must be accepted and understood in order to give meaning to
"non-existence" or "nothing".
The important point is that "nothing" is just that:
nothing. It doesn't exist. It has no identity. It's not a vacuum. It's not
dark. It's not cold. It has no characteristics. As a tool of cognition, it
can be useful, but doesn't exist.
Importance of Philosophy, "Nothing."
NOTHING IS NOT EVERYTHING
The above Encyclopedia defines the term "Nothing."
thoroughly and leaves no doubt. Nothing is nothing and gives rise to
nothing--except for atheists. They, to the puzzlement of rational thinkers
see "Nothing" as having the ability to issue forth "Everything." Their
rebellious minds are so desperate to get rid of God that they are willing to
accept the most illogical, absurd, and insane concept that humans can ever
conceive of. Their pet responses are the following:
1. If you believe in God, who made Him?
Or
2. If you believe in God, which God?
SENSIBLE RESPONSES
1. Nothing comes from nothing. This is the most
solid truth there is. Even if atheists appeal to quantum mechanics, it too
begins with "Oscillations in the quanta" --thus with "something." If there
is an "origin," then we can safely retrogress into eternity and an Eternal
Mind who is able to bring forth energy that can manifest itself in malleable
and flexible building blocks, subject to exquisite laws, that can combine in
a multitude of stunning shapes and forms, and finally to the inexhaustible
human mind. "Nothing" mind does not make. Yet to atheists it does.
2. Retort number two is usually added as a way of
circumventing the issue. This is a totally different question which should
be answered after the first question gets answered. If God or a
Creator exists, then we may proceed to explore the nature of this Being. But
this is a different area, not to be confused with the first.
