DAVID HUME AND MIRACLES:
REBUTTALS / CRITIQUES
One of the most influential
works of the great Scottish philosopher, David Hume, is An Inquiry
concerning Human Understanding. In the tenth chapter titled "On Miracles,"
he offers arguments against the possibility of miracles. This work is
often used by atheists as a weapon against one of the great proofs of
God's existence. In this section the reader is encouraged to connect with
the following web sites for some fine Christian rebuttals.
