"JUNK DNA": ANOTHER DISAPPOINTMENT FOR ATHEISTS

So Called "Junk DNA" has been offered by atheist evolutionists as evidence for evolution. Believers can't help but laugh every time new "vestiges" are offered as evidence, fully aware of all the other vestiges that have been shown over the years as being far from useless. Now here is a new announcement that once again humbles unbelievers to believers delight.

Rather than being filled with wonder at the stunning complexity and design inherent within the human genome, atheist evolutionist, in their inimitable way, went on to focus instead of "junk DNA," that is DNA that "appeared" to have no real use and that according to them were simply "leftovers of evolution."

These unrepentant, God-hating unbelievers have to eat crow one more time, as the most recent evidence indicates.

Yesterday, after years of studying the human DNA sequence, ENCODE - the Encyclopedia Of DNA Elements - released their preliminary findings, showing the complexity of the human DNA chain and that so-called 'junk' DNA is more important than originally thought.

The papers from ENCODE, published in the journals Nature, Genome Research and Genome Biology, reveal two major discoveries: Over 80 percent of the DNA sequence can be linked to specific biological processes, and there are over 4 million regions of the sequence that act as switches, where proteins can interact with the DNA chain to turn genes on and off.

"ENCODE has revealed that most of the human genome is involved in the complex molecular choreography required for converting genetic information into living cells and organisms." said Dr. Eric Green, director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, according to Science Daily.[i]

"A complex molecular choreography." And who is the "Choreographer"? Who is the designer of the stunning "complexity?" No mention; but believers have no problem knowing who this great being really is. Let's read some more:

Dr. Ewan Birney, lead analysis coordinator for the ENCODE project, added "By carefully piecing together a simply staggering variety of data, we've shown that the human genome is simply alive with switches, turning our genes on and off and controlling when and where proteins are produced."[ii]

"Switches"? With the aim of "turning our genes on and off?" Isn't that interesting...

And last of all: "Far from being junk DNA, this regulatory DNA clearly makes important contributions to human health and disease." [iii]

Well, looks like atheistic evolutionists have been humbled once again. How many obdurate types will change their minds and give glory to the Source of it all? Probably not many--if any.

One thing is worth celebrating: Science is being used by God to humble the unbelievers and that is great news indeed. And, rest assured, there is much more coming.  Is your lofty ego ready to handle  the flattening that it will yet endure, my militant atheist friends?
