BUT WHERE IS THE GROTESQUE?
One of
the most evident proofs of God's creative touch is the elegance, beauty
and design one finds everywhere in nature. Plain common sense should
tell us that titanic forces operating blindly over eons would have/could
have never produced such mesmerizing beauty.
If we
were to assume for one second that blind evolution had been the cause of
all we see in nature, we would have to ask a very simple and perfectly
valid question: "Where is the grotesque?"
Yes,
atheist friends, where is the grotesque? Assuming that blind forces
would have brought about living beings, why "only" elegant design?
When
one looks at nature with an unbiased mind one sees amazing patterns,
gorgeously combined colors and art, art and more art...and no
grotesque -- anywhere!
Look
closely, at nature; the birds, the fish the land animals -- insects
included. Where is the grotesque?
Are you
getting the point, my atheist friend?
I hope you will; and I hope
that in so doing you will regain the sense of wonder for the Mind that
conceives, creates and sustains it all.
